The title of this recipe is all the explanation needed…don’t forget the ice cream.
cherry peach cobbler
makes 6 – 8 servings
1 3/4 cup oats
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp agave syrup (honey with all work)
1 1/2 cups peaches, cubed
1 cup cherries, pitted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease an 8×8 baking pan (or something similar)
Mix dry ingredients in appropriate size bowl.
Cream butter and brown sugar in separate bowl. Add vanilla, agave and egg. Mix until combined. Slowly add dry ingredients until everything is well combined.
Spread 3/4 of dough in bottom of pan, saving the rest to sprinkle on top.
Layer cherries and then peaches. Top with remaining dough.
Bake for 20 – 25 minutes.
