Pineapple and Rosemary Cocktail

I stumbled upon the inspiration for this drink last summer. I was intrigued by the pear and pineapple combination. I took that idea and ran with it, creating a cocktail of my own. This drink is so yummy. It can be enjoyed on a weeknight while sitting on the deck or at a cocktail party surrounded by friends.

pineapple and rosemary cocktail



1 1/2 oz pear vodka

1 oz simple syrup*

6 fl oz pineapple juice

club soda

1 sprig rosemary


Place half a sprig of rosemary in the bottom of a cocktail shaker (or glass) and crush with a pestle, rolling pin, or the end of a wooden spoon.

Add vodka, simple syrup and pineapple juice. Shake, strain and pour in glass over ice.

Top drink with soda and garnish with rosemary. Enjoy!

*simple syrup is just equal parts sugar and water, boiled until the sugar has dissolved and then cooled. I do 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water at a time and save it in the refrigerator
